The 2025 hurricane season is starting to heat up and become more active. Both the Atlantic and Gulf are very warm. It’s time to make certain you’re ready.

The VDS Generator Committee wants to remind everyone to start your portable generators and have them ready to go. You will want to double check the battery, especially if you did not disconnect it when you put it away after testing it.

For exactly this reason, a few residents have had to replace their batteries.  If you’re having difficulty getting your generator running or put together, please reach out to Smokey: smokeyknudsen@gmail.com or Larry:  Globalexplorer1960@att.net. Either one will be able to assit you.
