The Gulf and the Atlantic are both heating up quickly. Storms in September and October are quite likely. It’s time to get ready.

Update Hurricane Kits. Check your kit’s contents, change the batteries, make certain generators are ready, have bottled water on hand, and ensure your weather radio is ready to go.

Make Shutter Arrangements NOW. Just a reminder It’s the HOMEOWNERS RESPONSIBILITY to ensure your home is prepared!  

The VDS Emergency Operations Club, VDS Hurricane Committee, and our HOA Management team STRONGLY encourage residents to make your Shutter arrangements now.

Many homeowners found permanent Shutter solutions this year!  We congratulate you on a smart decision. 

However, if you still need someone to put shutters up for you, there are companies under Shuttering solutions on our website at https://www.vdseoc.com/shutters. They will install and remove shutters after the storm. Bottom line: please arrange with a company now so that you are on their list for this Hurricane season.
